Add-ons — capabilities that switch on inside the system you already use
Not every capability deserves its own system. An add-on is something you switch on inside a product you already have: priced separately, billed to the same account. The first one is Kal Dialer — calling straight from the system your team works in all day.
What an add-on is
A product stands on its own. An add-on switches on inside one.
Kalkalit, Kal Tik, Kal Siha and Kal Pinuy are products — each one solves a whole problem and works even if you own none of the others. An add-on is a different animal: it doesn't run on its own, it has no separate login and no screen of its own. It adds a capability inside the screens you already know.
- 1Switches on for the products you choose — one add-on, on a single product or on all of them, whichever fits how you work
- 2Runs on the data you already have — same customers, same records, same permissions. Nothing to import, nothing to set up twice
- 3Priced separately, billed together — its own line on the invoice, but the same account and the same payment method
- 4You can switch it off — turning the add-on off doesn't touch the products, or the data they've built up
Kal Dialer
A phone number on screen is a button, not text to copy
Kal Dialer adds a softphone that runs inside the browser. Click a number anywhere in the system and the call goes out. No separate phone system, no software to install, no copying numbers onto your mobile.
- Click to call from any record — and the call stays attached to the record you dialed from, even when two customers share the same line
- The customer card opens on the call — the moment a known number is recognized, you see who's calling and everything you need to know about them
- Call lists — build a list and the dialer walks you through it call by call, marking who already answered and letting you pick up tomorrow where you stopped
- Notes typed during the call that save themselves onto the record — no writing it up afterwards from memory
- Callbacks and missed-call tracking — so a call nobody picked up doesn't quietly fall through the cracks
- A manager view — who's talking right now, silent monitoring and barge-in, plus a dialing activity report for the whole team
Same add-on, different context
What you see during the call depends on the product
The dialer itself is identical everywhere. What changes is what opens on screen the moment the call starts — because someone talking to an accounting firm's client needs to see something very different from a driver calling about a dumpster.
In Kal Tik
The client file opens with the call: client details, the reporting periods still open, and the documents they haven't sent in yet.
Meet Kal TikIn Kalkalit
The supplier or customer on the other end of the line, with their open invoices and the documents most recently captured from them.
Go to the Kalkalit siteIn Kal Siha
The outbound call flows straight into the Amendment 73 recording, retention and delivery process — with no extra step for the agent.
Meet Kal SihaIn Kal Pinuy
The customer you're speaking to, with their containers on site, their open orders and the last pickup you completed for them.
Meet Kal PinuyAfter you hang up
Logging the call isn't another task on the list
Most of the work around phone calls isn't the call itself — it's what's supposed to happen afterwards and never does. Kal Dialer closes that loop by itself.
The call lands on the record
Who spoke, when, for how long and what was said — attached to the customer you dialed. Not in a separate log that nobody ever opens.
Recording when you need it
The call is recorded and stored with every detail. If Kal Siha is switched on too, that recording falls under its Amendment 73 retention and delivery policy.
What the team actually did
A dialing activity report: how many calls went out, how many were answered and what came of them — per agent and across the team.
Pricing and billing
Its own line on the invoice. The same account.
The add-on is priced separately from the products, by the number of users who actually switch it on. For your budget and your bookkeeping, though, nothing gets complicated:
- 1One account for all of Zekal — products and add-ons come out of the same account and the same payment method
- 2One invoice with a separate line for every product and every add-on, so you always know what you're paying for
- 3You pay only for who uses it — an agent without the dialer isn't counted
- 4Switch it on or off whenever — without onboarding a new vendor and without touching the products
It depends on how many agents use the dialer and on which products. Tell us how many you are and we'll come back with a number, no commitment.
Questions and answers
What people ask us about add-ons
What is an add-on, and why isn't it a product in its own right?
An add-on is a capability that switches on inside an existing Zekal product and never runs on its own. Kal Dialer, for instance, does nothing without a system that already holds customers and records — it adds calling to that system. So it isn't a separate product with its own login; it's a button that appears inside the software your team already works in all day.
Which products can Kal Dialer be switched on for?
Any of them — Kalkalit, Kal Tik, Kal Siha and Kal Pinuy — and on several of them at once. What changes from product to product is what appears on screen during the call: in Kal Tik it's the client file and its filing deadlines, in Kalkalit it's the supplier and their open invoices, and in Kal Pinuy it's that customer's containers and orders.
Do I need a phone system or a desk phone to use Kal Dialer?
No. The dialer runs inside the browser — a headset and a microphone are all it takes, with no software to install and no separate PBX to deploy. An agent working from home gets exactly the same dialer as an agent sitting in the office.
What happens to a call once it ends?
The call is saved onto the record you dialed from — who spoke, when, for how long, the recording, and the notes the agent typed while talking. Nobody has to remember to write anything up. If Kal Siha is switched on too, the recording also enters its retention and delivery process under Amendment 73, Israel's call-recording law.
How is the add-on priced and billed?
The add-on is priced separately from the products, by the number of users who switch it on. Billing comes out of the same account and appears on the same invoice as the rest of your Zekal products — no new vendor to set up, no additional payment method, and you can switch the add-on off without touching the products themselves.
